CHRISNA D. JONES
Attorney Chrisna D. Jones was born and raised in Albany, Georgia and has been practicing law since 1998. Attorney Jones earned an A.D.N. from the nursing school at Macon Jr. College (now Middle GA State University) in 1985 and practiced as an ICU Registered Nurse for 10 years before she earned her B.A. (Cum Laude) from Georgia State University in 1995. Attorney Jones graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1998.
Chrisna Jones has been an injury and trial attorney for twenty years. Since the beginning of her legal career, she has been a voice for those injured as the result of the negligence of others. She has spent her career specializing in the areas of personal injury, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. She is passionate about the law and passionate about obtaining civil justice (outside and inside the courtroom) for her clients.
Attorney Chrisna Jones is currently an active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) and member of the Editorial Board of Verdict magazine published quarterly by the GTLA. She serves on the State Bar of Georgia Committee of Judicial Procedure and Administration/Uniform Rules. She is also a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
She is a former member and co-chair of the Steering Committee of the Georgia Diversity Program. She was also a member of the program committee of The Layman’s Lawyer program on Georgia Public Television from 2000-2004. She speaks at Continuing Legal Education programs and is a frequent participant at Career Day elementary and middle school events.
When not practicing law:
One of Attorney Jones’ favorite past times is gardening. She applies the lessons learned from her late grandfather to cultivate and grow vegetables. She also takes pleasure in tending to her Hybrid and Tea roses.
She is avid football fan and watches both college and professional football. She prefers listening to Braves baseball on the radio, but will watch games on television with her husband.
She enjoys indulging her grandchildren and the number of grandchildren happily keep increasing.
She and her husband scuba dive whenever they have the chance. Attorney Jones’ favorite place to just hangout is the beach.
